How to Use Your DIDIM Cover
Cushion
Insert between the fabric layers for a thicker feel.
Band Type (Compact / Wide)
Pull one of the two straps to adjust the length.
The band should be just long enough to hook onto the corner — not too short.
Pass the band under the lower-left side of the chinrest.
Hook it onto the violin corner.
With some chinrests, the band may spread slightly.
Twist it once or twice before hooking if needed.
The band can be trimmed and re-tied if needed.
Ribbon Type
Guarneri:
Pass one ribbon under the tailpiece and tie on the right side.
Tie the ribbon loosely rather than too tightly.
The non-slip lining helps keep it securely in place.
Teka (closed left side):
Wrap the ribbon around the chinrest, then tie it at the left end.
Care Guide
To keep your DIDIM chinrest cover soft and in good condition, please follow these care instructions.
Washing
Hand washing is recommended.
If using a washing machine, place the cover in a laundry bag and wash with a mild detergent.
Do not use chlorine bleach.
Drying
Do not tumble dry.
We recommend air drying naturally.
Ironing
Do not iron the silicone non-slip layer.
If ironing is needed, turn the cover inside out before ironing.
This helps maintain the shape of the cover.
